Hotel Seppl

We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are nice, most of them will give you a mountain panorama. Unfortunately the first room we got was facing the parking and after complaining to the janitor that it wasn't what we signed for, he changed us to a room that was being renovated but good enough for the stay, and with the nice panorama. The beds are a bit soft but I slept well without backache. Otherwise nice and clean. There's a small indoor swimming pool and a spa, with sauna, steam bath, an infrared machine for the back and a few other things that I didn't look at. There is an outdoor pond in which you can go. All around it there's grass, tanning beds, etc, and all that with a stunning view. The breakfast is quite good with a lot of variety. The restaurant for dinner was also very nice although not outstanding. Good house wine. The service was good but a few waiters for dinner were quite obviously rookies and were very slow. I had to call the manager one evening because we had been sitting 20 minutes without having drinks or getting the menu. The location is quite nice, but arguably just being around Innsbruck will get you that. The hotel itself is located next to a bus stop and not too far from a tram stop. They don't very frequent though (like every 30 minutes).

Lovely hotel with charm and atmosphere. Lovely rooms, clean and nicely decorated with a beautiful view on the mountains. The dining room has a stunning view on Innsbruck’s mountains. The staff is helpful, competent and friendly. We definitely recommend to everyone who wants a human-size hotel and quietness. Super easy to access from Innsbruck by car, tram or bus.

Sept 2022: Perfectly located hotel with stunning views....if you a room at the right side of the hotel.... We'd been looking forward to our overnight stay here, and had booked based on the stunning photos. Unfortunately we got a room at the backside of the hotel, overlooking the parking lot. Still a lovely room, but quite pricey of you don't get to enjoy the views. Young man at the reception was very friendly. Yet hotel was short staffed and the young man had to also tend the bar. Would have hoped for a staffed bar so we could have spent a bit longer there. Update February 2023: This time the hotel seemed up and running. Still very warm welcome at the reception, we had explicitly booked an upgraded room with a view and reception kindly confirmed it prior to our arrival. We stayed 3 nights and got an Innsbruck Card incl. which allows for free train rides to town, free bus services in the region, cable cars and Museums. We didn't use our car these few days. Would have loved to stay longer and hope to come back here one day.
